MAPLE METAL RECORDS is a Canadian Indie Label based in Toronto. MMR was launched in 2008 by John Belrose (producer of one of the pioneering albums in thrash / speed metal: EXCITER’s - Heavy Metal Maniac).
Our goal at MMR is to release newer metal from talented acts around the world, and bring them to the forefront of wider global markets. In doing so we provide bands exposure to a bigger fan base and a greater awareness within the metal community, with the potential of them moving on to major labels. We strive to be a leader in bringing new and exciting acts of the highest calibre to the roster of MMR: “The Label for Metal’s Elite”.
