Militant Entertainment records is the spin off label from Glastonbury Fetsival's Left Field stage. Under the direction of Left Field supremo Geoff Martin and film-maker and firefighter Alan Miles, Militant Entertainment is the only UK record label under the complete control of a rebel Marxist faction. The label works closely with trade unions and campaigning organisations - including our comrades at Love Music Hate Racism - to promote the global fight for economic and social justice. Drawing inspiration from our compadre Joe Strummer the label charted strongly with it's first release - Everybody's Welcome to the Hooley! - an-anti racist anthem for St Patrick's Day by north London psycho-ceilidh rockers Neck The labels roster inlcudes female-led bands Teasing Lulu and the Mentalists.
